Most people meet an appliance company on the worst day that appliance has ever had. Lake Appliance Repair was set up to make that day short, predictable and free of surprises on the invoice.

How we work

The order is always the same, and it is the order that matters. Measure the machine and read whatever its board has stored. Work out the actual problem rather than the first plausible one. Put a single number on it, parts and labor together. Wait for you to say yes. A panel comes off after that and not a minute before.

Nothing goes back to a unit somewhere. A refrigeration column is bolted into joinery and a wall oven is screwed into a run of cabinets, so the work happens where the appliance lives, in a window you were given at booking.

Four things that set us apart

The prices are public. Every common problem carries a starting figure on the pricing page. You can read it at your own kitchen table, with nobody waiting on an answer. Very little of this trade will do that.

Licensed, and it is on your paperwork. California licenses this work, ours is current, and the number is printed on your invoice rather than mentioned at the door. Every technician has passed a background check.

We will argue you out of a repair. Past half the price of comparable new equipment on a machine already beyond two thirds of its life, buying is the better spend and you will hear us say so. It costs us the job roughly twice a month.

Built-ins are the everyday work. Refrigeration columns, wine cabinets, integrated dishwashers and double wall ovens. Walking a panel-ready unit out of custom cabinetry without touching the panel or the run beside it is slow, and the quote reflects the hour it genuinely takes.

Credentials

BBB accredited with an A+ rating, and a member of the United Servicers Association. Sealed refrigeration work is done under EPA Section 608 certification. Every license and certificate number ends up on your paperwork, because a claim you cannot check is not worth making.

Where we work

Walnut Creek and the valley around it: Lafayette, Orinda, Alamo, Danville, Pleasant Hill and Moraga. All of it is a short run from North California Boulevard, and a tight map is the only honest way to promise an arrival window.
